Single men and women from all over the province who are fraternal brothers and sisters in Christ gathered together for that December fellowship adventure dubbed as the “SFC Bohol Adventure: Unleash, Revive, Experience” an SFC Bohol Advent Party at the scenic Punta Cruz grounds in Maribojoc last December 8.
The event was a gathering of men and women renewed in faith, love and personal conviction. It showcased creative competitions such as Pop Idol, SFC Jam (Bandfest), Bounce (Dance competition) and Lifestyle Runway Project as well as talks (teaching) and fellowship.
The early afternoon registration identified the participants to have reached almost 150 Singles for Christ (SFCs) and guests. After the song and worship, the SFC Bohol adventure formally opened.
First on the list of competition was the bandfest, then the pop idol, lifestyle (modeling) and bounce (dance).
Winners in the different events were: the SFC Tubigon chapter for the Bandfest; SFC Calape chapter for the pop idol; SFC Tagbilaran sector for the Bounce (dance) and Lifestyle (modeling).
Special awards were also given. The Most Dynamic plum goes to the SFC Loon chapter; Most Friendly to the SFC Tubigon; Most Number of Participants to SFC Tagbilaran and the SFC Calape as the Most Inspiring Group.
The awarding ceremony was succeeded by a late night ballroom or bayle.
CFC Singles for Christ is a generation of single men and women experiencing the fullness of life and restoring the world for Christ. It is also a family ministry of the Couples for Christ which provides a Christian support environment for single men and women between 21 to 40 years old. It does not only address the person’s spiritual nourishment but also one’s total development. SFC is present in parishes, corporations, government and educational institutions.
